Next deck what do? Empty
PostSubject: Next deck what do?   Next deck what do? EmptyTue Feb 28, 2012 3:07 am

I know I haven't made it to EDH day in...a while, and I chalk that up to procrastination on homework for my part. Ashling is still brand new, but I have the "fever" and need to start working on a new deck. I've been tinkering with three of them, and don't really know what would be "best" so sink money into, so I thought I'd throw them out there and ask if any of them look better/worse/annoying than the others.
TL;DR Tell me I'm stupid for wanting to play one or two of these.

First up is Basandra. I've been actively searching for cards on this one, and telling people it's my next project, but it just doesn't seem.....consistent. I mean the theme is there, but the deck just takes too long to get going, and doesn't seem powerful enough when it does.

Next up is one that I find wildly fun, but kinda uninspired. Seton, Krosan Protector makes every druid I drop a hasted Llanowar Elf, which has lead to some very, very fast ramping into creatures that shouldn't see play until turn 8 or so.

Cool lists; I'd like to see Ajani's Pridemate in lifegain. With an Elspeth toss, he'd be good game. Twisted Evil
