I am running trading post and wurmcoil engine and i was wondering if i could use the trading posts 3rd ability to sacrifice the wurmcoil engine then return that wurmcoil engine from my graveyard to my hand. Or does the sacrificing of the creature and the returning of the artifact from my graveyard to my hand happen at the same time?

You got to have a target to use the ability. Think of sacrifice as an additional cost. Still good value to be had though.

thanks that helped out alot. But I just sacrificed the wurmcoil engine to return a solemn simulacrum and then sacrificed that to get the wurmcoil back.
