ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL

Wow, have had the Shirei deck for an entire week and I'm already itching to make another. I've tackled my favorite theme of "recursion", so now I need to make an artifact/artifact creature themed deck! Sharuum seems like the popular choice for that kind of thing, but I've decided to go a simpler route and do Memnarch. I've been tinkering with it, and could use some input. Hope I get around to being excited about something that isn't mono-colored.....

Well.....the goal here is to "go infinite" with my mana and do silly things. Ideally going infinite mana with mycosynth lattice on the board so I'd own everything. Forever. It's either this or Jhoria U/R, and I'm not so confident with how that one is turning out, even though Suspend shenanigans are hilarious. Well....and angel tribal with Jenara at the helm......

Must has Blinkmoth Infusion. I personally loathe art-ee-fact decks because it elicits groans from most everyone; however, mono-color is a lot less threatening. There are many many blue cards that support the artifact theme, including artificer's intuition, but that requires a lot more 1 or 0 cost artifacts to justify. Drain Power might be worth checking out as you don't need any colored mana for the majority of your stuff. Soldevi Machinist might be worth a look too since you are already running vedalken engineer. Guantlet of Power, or at the very least, Caged Sun, belongs in this deck. I think its very strong initially, if you are looking for any cards let me know! Good luck with your deck!

Now I'm looking at stuff, and I'm tempted to replace Jace 3.0 with Future Sight or Magus of the Future. I know he's an extra draw a turn that exiles potential threats, but I like the idea of going "Whoops, Power Artifact on Basalt Monolith, let me reveal and play until I hit a counterspell, then just let everyone sit there and look at it."
