Heartless Combo

I really like the shenanigans that are infinite combos. Now we have one in standard that seems pretty cool to me. Here is the raw decklist I came up with:

4 Darkslick Shores
4 Drowned Catacombs
8 Island

4 Perilous Myr
4 Necrotic Ooze
4 Civilized Scholar
1 Rune-scarred Demon

4 Heartless Summoning

4 Mana Leak
3 Go for the Throat
1 Doom Blade
4 Tragic Slip
3 Sever the Bloodline

Sideboard:
3 Black Sun's Zenith
2 Consecrated Sphinx
4 Dissipate
4 Curse of Death's Hold
2 Mind Control

Update: I took the red out for a more controlling aspect of the deck. I figured that it was better to protect my combo than to try to go infinite.

I did some playtesting with it and the avg. turn for the combo to go off is turn 6. It is capable of going off turn 4 and did a couple of times. Mind you this was just to see how long it would take for you to assemble the combo, this wasn't against any other decks or anything. If you have any thoughts, please feel free to comment.

Question: have you tried adding civilized scholars?
They combo with both the lich and necrotic ooze and would appear to provide a near guaranteed win if you get lich/ooze+priest out.
i could be wrong but i'm interested in the deck enough to offer the suggestion.

Edit: I like it. I am going to put 4 Scholars in for 2 Perilous Myr and 2 Devils Play.

i honestly think only 1 devil's play would be necessary, given that perilous myr straight up ends the game the way it does. i know that surgical extraction might ruin your day if you were short on win-cons but i think that 4 myrs are necessary for aggro matches, too.
playing them out early to block and trade two-for-one is added value. that's assuming you get a weak start, though.
which i usually do with ooze-based combo decks.

I took out 1 Devils Play and 1 Faithless Looting for 2 Myrs. In playtesting it seemed like Faithless Looting was the least impressive cantrip for this deck.

i do like that it sets things up for you sometimes but so does the scholar/ooze engine, so yeah, i can see making room for it.

Yeah, what I dont like about it is that when you are top decking it is kind of a dead card if you need a Heartless Summoning or a Lich.

The deck is now a lot more consistant, thanks for the input.
