Ok EDH players, I need your helps.

I wanna start playing EDH, and in typical Jon madsen style I want my deck to annoy the F out of people. This is what I have so far, I need help filling out the rest of the cards:

General: Progenitus

Deck:
Burning wish
Cunning wish
Shaharazad
Twincast
Fork
Reciprocate
Ring of Ma'Ruf
Ponder
Preordain

Wishes don't work in edh. here are the official edh rules, just read everything then check the banned list. That should give you all the restrictions you need to build your deck.

Wishes ARE allowed in EDH (unless this is some local rule). They are only able to get cards that have been RFG'd I.E. Shaharazad and other wishes. OR you use the optional sideboard rule. Granted this makes them basicly dead cards for most if not all of the game.

We actualy got this idea from a judge at the scg open.

well locally, we don't use the optional sideboard rule, and at the larger events in four man pods you wouldn't have access to your sideboard, so it just depends on who and where you plan on playing. Also the wishes have been changed ever since exile has become a zone cards in it are considered part of the game, so you can't get them from that zone anymore. I'd just use a tutor effect instead of wasting time trying to wish, you are already playing 5 colors you have access to anything you want and you have roughly 55+ cards to use in the deck even when you consider the amount of tutors you'd be using. In my opinion, there is nothing that a wish could get you that wouldn't be better gotten from your deck with a black tutor that doesn't cause you to reveal it.

the wishes are used to pull shaharazad into the side game after casting it. Thats why it doesnt matter if youre playing with the optional sideboard or not. As it was explained to me, you can wish for it because its in the graveyard of the main game, which is not part of the current game.

yeah, i wanna shaharazad, then while we're playing the mini game wish for it and play it again so we play another mini game, then wish for the wish and play it again basicly making my opponents cut thier own wrists.

well if you win one mini game then everyone else loses half their life in the next game up on the stack, so if there is like 10 games on the stack it could be really interesting.

you could probably get away with child of alara as the general. then do things like run sneak attack and other shenanigans to play out progenitus or just about any other wonky bomb available to your imagination.
i'm still digging around on gatherer looking for better ideas.

had a thought, if you're running a five color deck. you can run dream halls/conflux combo, too.
does cost a bit but once you've got it assembled, it does silly things.

resolve dream halls.
discard anything to cast conflux, finding... i don't know, whatever five silly cards you really have always wanted to cast, one being relearn/call to mind/deja vu if you'd like. or sins of the past. or yawgmoth's something something...
you can use dream halls to cast progenitus, or you used some other general, you can use progenitus to discard to other silliness.
