I think for a deck like this Bushwhacker is a necessity. I mean the deck used to be called Boros Bushwhacker.
It allows you to store up fetch lands on the board, drop a Lynx and/or Geopede with a kicked Bushwhacker for a huge surprise swing.
Not sure about the Emerge Unscathed. I like the idea of it with Kiln Fiend...pretty sick, however you're gonna want more creatures less spells.
I would move the Paths to sideboard because it will ultimately help your game 1 vs. most decks. You would probably side them in a lot for dealing with Kor Firewalker, but winning game 1 is really important. I would go
-3 Emerge Unscathed
-4 Path to Exile (moved to sideboard)
+4 Goblin Bushwhacker
+3 Staggershock (it's removal and it's close to doing what Emerge Unscathed does for Kiln Fiend just in a more aggro way)
I could see some sick turn progressions too....
Turn 1 Steppe Lynx
Turn 2 Fetch, Swing for 4, Kiln Fiend
Turn 3 Fetch, Staggershock, swing for 8...(14 dmg by turn 3 seems....well seems something)
