| I like it...might try it out next week when I get home. I don't like the Bituminous Blasts though. Would probably switch them out with 2 Gideons and possibly go to a 3-3 split on Terminates and Inquisitions. It's one of the better Persecutor decks I've seen since that card came out. | |

yeah, i am running a block version of this deck with gideons in place of bit blasts. it makes closing the game pretty ridiculous. i am all for that change. i run sarkhan in multiples and it's been really good, too. nuking your own wall of omens when it is time to win has been really great.

| 4 Inquisition Of Kozilek < Duress imo. being able to take away problematic planeswalkers SEEMS GOOD. opposing Jace TMS, Ajani, etc. | |

path easily fits in here but might not be necessary. the baneslayer actually makes the five drop spot (be it filled with gideon or bitblast) a little crowded. it is great, which is why the dude sideboarded them. i think part of his hope is that people's removal gets lighter when they see persecutor, thinking that they board some out for more pressure. then he boards in baneslayers. they're also good against a number of particular strategies and circumstances (e.g. the unlikely, opposing persecutor).
